Terms of use
These terms cover the Pitch Life mobile game, published by maindtec. By installing and playing it you accept them. They are short on purpose.
Everything in the game is fiction
All clubs, players, leagues, competitions, stadiums, managers, agents, newspapers and sponsors in Pitch Life are fictional. They are invented by the game from its own name lists and checked against a blocklist of real clubs and real people before they are shown.
Any resemblance to real people, clubs, organisations, competitions or events is coincidental. Pitch Life is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by any football club, league, federation, player, or their representatives.
If you do find a name in the game that reads like a real club or a real person, that is a bug and we want to hear about it. Write to mert@maindtec.de and it will be added to the blocklist.
There is no gambling in this game
Pitch Life contains no betting, no odds, no wagers, no casino or card games, no wheels, no loot boxes and no paid random rewards. Money pressure in the story is about wages, debts, contracts and impulsive spending, and none of it is a game of chance you can stake anything on. Nothing in the game can be bought with real money to change the result of a match.
What you may do with the game
You get a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and play Pitch Life on devices you control, for your own non-commercial use. You may record, stream and publish video of yourself playing it, including monetised video, and you do not need to ask.
You may not resell the app, redistribute it, reverse engineer it to build a competing product, or modify the app and distribute the modified version.
Your save file
Your careers are saved on your own device. There is no cloud save and no account, so we hold no copy and we cannot restore a career for you. Losing a phone, wiping it, or uninstalling without a device backup will lose the save. Keep your phone's backup switched on if your careers matter to you.
Changes to the game
The game will change. Updates will add content, fix bugs, and adjust balance, and a balance change can make a career behave differently than it did before the update. Save files are migrated forward between versions on a best effort basis, and are tested for that, but we cannot guarantee that every save from every past version will survive every future one.
No warranty, and the limit of our liability
Pitch Life is provided as it is. We do not promise that it is free of bugs, that it will run on every device, or that it will always be available to download. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using the game, including lost save files.
Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law where you live, or under the terms of the App Store or Google Play, whichever you installed the app from. Where those rules and these terms disagree, those rules win.
Age
Pitch Life is written for a teenage and adult audience. It deals with money trouble, tabloid press, nights out and career pressure in text. There is no explicit content and no gambling. See the age rating on the store page for the rating that applies in your country.
Governing law
These terms are governed by German law, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in.
